I typically work with Squarespace. For more complex sites that require more customisation I work with the awesome team at The New Black.
Step-by-step
I always like a good chat! We start by discussing your website goals, call-to-actions and structure.
Then I build out a wireframe to confirm homepage flow and a sitemap for overall site structure.
Next I create 2 homepage design options for you to choose from. Both aligning with your brand.
Once confirmed we build the homepage and the rest of the site in the same style.
We then fine tune desktop & mobile mode and ensure we have all the necessary SEO for it to rank on google!
I walk you through your site and show you how to make simple updates yourself. No need to hire a designer to just change a sentence.

divide and conquer
If you offer more than one service divide them up onto individual pages. This makes it easier for your audience to go through what you offer but also does wonders for SEO. Having individual pages means more keywords.

If this was designed by someone who does not use Squarespace we might need to make a few adjustments to ensure it is all achievable. But we can add in code to get it as close as possible.

Yes! Squarespace is my favourite but I have experience working with a few others including: Kajabi, Shopify and Webflow. I no longer work with Wix due to it’s ties to an ongoing war.
I also work with web developers for more complex builds.

Budget is always a tricky question. It really depends on the brief and the scope of the project – how many pages, if you already have an established brand, any extra features you might need such as booking or ecommerce.

Typical websites take about 4-8 weeks. If you need it urgently let me know, I do typically charge a rush fee but happy to discuss.
Timing is greatly impacted on how quickly you can provide content, make decisions and answer my questions.

Yes! That is why I love Squarespace, it is easy to use. Once the project is over I can walk you though making simple updates and changes yourself. This way you don’t need to hire a designer just to fix some punctuation.

No problem, I will send through an invoice with a local bank account for you to transfer the money easily – without overseas fees.

This of course depends on where you are based.
If you are in the Americas it can work quite well. Your afternoon is my morning. This means I get all the feedback in the morning and by your next morning you have a new proof to review.If you are in Europe and most of Africa our times are almost opposite so this can be tricky. I am happy to occasionally discuss out of office hours but videos tend to work well to help communication along.
